Michael Ensley

Michael Ensley
Chief Research Officer

Michael D. Ensley is the co-founder of the Executive Assessment Institute and leads the organization. Michael was previously a Tenured Professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Michael has published and presented over 50 articles in various conferences and outlets, and his work is regularly cited in the academic literature.

Michael’s efforts to merge cutting edge research with practical application has resulted in the ability to develop assessment tools that create real financial impact by understanding how changes in leadership and teams directly affect the firm's financial position. This has created a specific competitive advantage for Michael and the Executive Assessment Institute team.

Michael holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Mississippi State University with a Concentration in Organization Theory and Strategy, an MBA from Western Carolina University, and a BSBA from Western Carolina University.


Joe

Joe Frodsham
Senior Vice President

Joe Frodsham has extensive experience across multiple industries leading human resource functions and building cutting-edge talent management systems. As a Senior Vice President with EAI, Joe offers clients contemporary solutions that drive individual, team and organization success.

Prior to joining EAI, Joe served as Vice President of Talent and as the interim Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Tenet Healthcare, the largest publicly owned hospital chain in the United States. Prior to Tenet, Joe was Global Director, Leadership Development, at Whirlpool Corporation, helping the company achieve the national ranking as the 11th best company for leaders according to the annual Hewitt study. Before that, he worked for Compaq Computer Corporation and as a senior consultant with Andersen Consulting.

Joe earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology and his master’s degree in organizational behavior from Brigham Young University. He has published a number of articles, co-authored a seminal book on careers titled "Make it Work", and is a speaker and recognized expert on talent, leadership and organization development.


Rhonda Ensley
Chief Operating Officer

Rhonda L. Ensley is the co-founder of the Executive Assessment Institute and oversees the operations of the organization. Prior to co-founding EAI, Rhonda worked as a Certified Public Accountant and was a State and Local Tax Manager at Grant Thornton LLP. She began her career at Arthur Andersen LLP.

Rhonda’s ability to drive execution for EAI has allowed the organization to grow in difficult times. Her insights and abilities in regard to operational processes and systems approach to Talent Management work led directly to the creation of EAI’s Talent Management System. It is her ability to keep operational processes working that allows EAI’s innovation to become a foundation for Competitive Advantage for many companies.

Rhonda holds a Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a Masters of Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida State University.


Jim

Jim Murphy
Chief Technology Officer

Jim Murphy joined the Executive Assessment Institute in 1997 as lead programmer for the myriad of web-based assessment instruments administered through the Executive Assessment web site. Jim manages all aspects of the strategic vision for the Executive Assessment and Risk Assessment Institutes information systems including assessment, database management, intellectual property and content management.

Jim retired from the United States Air Force in 1997 after 20 years of service. He holds a B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee and a Masters in Management from Troy State University. He is fluent in HTML, ASP, PHP, JavaScript, SQL, Visual Basic, VBScript and proficient in many development applications.
